The core activities of CECAM (workshops and tutorials) take place mainly at the premises of the EPFL but also at other locations in Switzerland, thanks to the collaboration and sponsorship of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ), the Universita' della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Lugano. and the Swiss National Supercomputing Center (CSCS) in Manno.
Key people in this collaboration are Professor Matthias Troyer of the Theoretical Physics Institute of ETHZ, Professor Piero Martinoli, President of USI, and Professor Thomas Schulthess, Director of the CSCS.
